I designed a visual identity based on illustrating pieces of heritage that appealed both to the Caribbean archipelago and the archaeological practice. Different pieces that evoke the past can be visually connected, on one hand, with the archipelagos and islands of the Caribbean that make up one of the particularities of its geography, but also speaks to the inclusivity of a community that aims to be open, inclusive, and horizontal.
CoCAH is a group of scholars interested in sharing knowledge, and creating a community of researchers specialized in Caribbean Archaeology. The group is an open, welcoming and decolonial community that aims to invite younger practictioners to join the field.
